This blog has been created to show how to build Pre-Columbian designs that can be reproduced in different contexts. Pre-Columbiam friezes embellish textiles, utensils, buildings and have different uses in decoration. They are a source of inspiration for modern art and outstanding demonstration of rules of armony and proportion.
The designs that appear here have been studied and described in detail by professor and researcher of art Juan Villacorta Paredes and published by the author in the workbook "Pre-Columbian Design".
